Friday May 5: Movie Night at Leu Gardens, "Dial M for Murder," 1920 N Forest Ave Orlando, Gardens open 6pm, Movie at 8:30

Enjoy an outdoor movie in a beautiful garden. Blankets or chairs are recommended. You may bring a dinner picnic basket. Alcohol is permitted. This movie is rated PG13. Under 13 years of age requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. Garden Admission is $6 adult, $3 child (K-12th grade) and Leu Members receive free admission.

The Orlando Ballet presents A CINDERELLA STORYDr Phillips Performing Arts Center

"Remember when families gathered around the television set on a Saturday night? That era, the 1950’s, is the setting for Val Caniparoli’s A Cinderella Story, a retro retelling of everybody’s favorite fairy tale. Saturday/Sunday May 6-7: Bank of America "Museums On Us" Weekend, various museums around Orlando

Every 1st full weekend of every month Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders get free admission on Saturdays & Sundays. To gain free entry, present your Bank Of America or Merrill Lynch card and a photo ID. The deal applies to cardholder only & does not include guests. Orlando-area participants include the Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando Science Center, and the Mennello Museum of American Art.

May 9 - 14: FAIRWINDS  Broadway in Orlando presents Matilda the Musical, show times vary

"Winner of 50 international awards, including 4 Tony Awards, Matilda The Musical is the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a vivid imagination & a sharp mind, dares to take a stand & change her own destiny." Ticket prices start $33.75.

Saturday May 13: Audubon Park Garden District's 6th Annual Kidfest, noon to 4pm. The district along Corinne Drive gets turned into a mini kids campus for the day. Sign up for free or nearly free workshops on arts and crafts, food, music, sustainability and more. Kids of all ages welcome.

Sunday May 14: Free Family Funday at the Menello Museum, 900 E. Princeton St. Orlando, 12 to 4:30pm

"Join us at the museum for a miniature fine art project and then take a Tenacious Tour of the exhibits! Each Free Family Funday has a different theme based on the current exhibition in the museum."

Tuesday May 16: Julianne and Derek Hough "MOVE Beyond - Live On Tour" - Dr Phillips Performing Arts Center, 7:30pm

"Superstar siblings Julianne and Derek Hough will star in their own all-new dance production." Tickets start at $55.

Thursday May 25 - Sunday May 28: MegaCon 2017 at the Orlando Convention Center, 800 International Dr, hours vary

MegaCon Orlando™ is a comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event packed with exciting family-friendly activities and celebrity guests! Tickets are $20-$55 depending on day purchased and whether in advance or day-of.

Friday May 26: Pint-Sized Science "Fun with Physics" at the Orlando Science Center, 8:30am to Noon

"Pint-Sized Science is a drop-off program for children ages 3 – 5 to explore science with their friends. During this program, they will be able to discover & learn about a range of science topics from bubble physics to machines & gears. They will be guided through simple lessons accompanied by hands-on activities & science-infused play." Children must be toilet-trained, Fees are $30 for members, $40 for non-members.

Friday May 26: Movieola at Lake Eola Park East Lawn, 512 E Washington St, Orlando, Event begins at 6, movie at 8:15pm

Showing "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Bring blankets, chairs, snacks and the whole family to enjoy this year’s selections. Leashed pets are welcome. Be sure to arrive early to secure a spot and enjoy some of the pre-movie activities. Food will be available for purchase.

Saturday May 27: Asian Cultural Festival 2017 at the Orlando Fashion Square Mall, 3201 E Colonial Dr., 11am to 4pm

"Come celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Enjoy cultural entertainment, arts & crafts and Asian Ethnic food featuring China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and more. Free Admission."

Sunday May 28: Orlando Carnival Downtown 2017 at Camping World Stadium, 1 Citrus Bowl Pl., noon to 10pm

Carnival is a family-friendly festival filled with pageantry and a weekend of parties will celebrate the culture of the Caribbean. Festival goers are in for a great treat as we open the Carnival to the public by having a Big Free Carnival Celebration with music, arts and crafts vendors and more.

Wednesday May 3 WineART Wednesdays, Central Park at Lake Mary City Hall,  5-9pm

"Enjoy a beautiful stroll through the park and the sidewalks of Downtown lined with displays from local artists and merchants. Relax and unwind to some live music while sipping a glass of wine from the new beer & wine garden in Central Park, or dig into some eats from some of the best food trucks and newest restaurants in town!"

"The Zoo will close at 5pm, & then reopen at 5:30... this time for adults only! Enjoy beer, wine, Smoke in the City BBQ Food Truck, music by Joshwayy Productions, & animals as you stroll through the Zoo during this alternative to the standard happy hour!"

$15 (Cash only) gets you a glass and a map of over 25 businesses that will be offering you a tasty tasting! Along the way we have Live Music, Art Vendor's, DJ's and all sorts of fun!

Thursday May 11: "Wine, Cheese & Chocolate" at Quantum Leap Winery, 7 to 9 pm

Saturday May 13: Orlando Whiskey Festival at Mercedes Benz of Orlando, 810 N Orlando Ave. Maitland, 7 to 10pm

"The grand tasting allows guests to sample close to 100 whiskey brands and interact with industry professionals. Gourmet menu selections will be on site from some of Orlando's most popular restaurant groups. An outside lounge area will include live entertainment and cigar vendors." Tickets start at $95.

Saturday May 13:  Florida SMaSH Beer Festival at Longwood Community Center, 200 W. Warren Ave., 2 to 6pm

"The Florida SMaSH Beer Festival was created to celebrate to creativity and camaraderie of the brewers in the Sunshine State and provide an opportunity to give back to the community. Each brewery will concoct a beer all made from the same single malt and single hop. This limitation forces brewers to think outside the box as well as focus on outstanding technique. With roughly 80 beers to sample including one-offs from every brewery involved, there will be something to please everyone." General Admission $35 | VIP Admission $75

Wednesday May 17: "Wanderlust Wednesday" in Ivanhoe Village, 520 Virginia Dr., 6 to 9pm

"Come explore Ivanhoe Village every third Wednesday of the month! Food Trucks, Shopping, & More! No purchase necessary to enjoy shops, food trucks, or open houses. All proceeds will directly benefit Ivanhoe Village Main Street." For a drink ticket, cost is $25 and on-site ticket sales end at 8:30pm

Thursday May 18: 3rd Thursday Gallery Hop at the Downtown Arts District, 11 E Pine St, Orlando, 6 to 9pm

"The Gallery Hop, hosted by the Downtown Arts District features numerous galleries and non-traditional art venues that spotlight the best of established and emerging Orlando-based artists in tandem with nationally and internationally acclaimed artists."

 Join the Downtown Orlando Partnership and local professionals for this monthly business networking event!" Admission is free for Members, $10 for Non-members. Event includes networking and 2 drink tickets.

Saturday May 20: Orlando's Biggest Pub Crawl, at pubs all around downtown Orlando, 6pm to 2 am

The Foundation for Florida Environmental Protection (FFEP) is hosting. Admission to the event will include access to over 60 bars in Downtown Orlando, Mills 50 District, Thornton Park, Ivanhoe Village and Audubon Park. General Admission ($10 online/$15 at the door) - Includes access to over 60 bars with food and drink specials. VIP also available ($25 online/$35 at the door). *All ticket, t-shirt, sponsorship and online auction profits will go towards one of FFEP's initiatives.

Thursday May 25: "Get Your Jazz On" at The Alfond Inn, 300 E New England Ave. Winter Park, 6:30-9:30pm

Thursday May 25: A special Orlando Ladies who Love the Arts {OLLA} group outing to "Into the Woods" at the Garden Theatre, Winter Garden.

May is Lupus Awareness Month. Help raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, & rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from its brutal impact.
